Summary:In this paper, the effect of deformation of a fullerite crystal on the dynamic properties of a rotating C 60 molecule located in the center of a selected fragment is analyzed. The spherical potential of pair interaction is used to determine the dynamic characteristics of surrounding molecules. The angular oscillations and rotation of the central C 60 molecule are described using the dynamic Euler equations. The effect of the direction of deformation of a fragment of a fullerite crystal on the precessional displacement of a rotating fullerene molecule is investigated depending on the direction and magnitude of the initial angular velocity.
