Summary:Since the subject of discrete memristor was formally proposed, many discrete memristor models have been constructed recently. However, the newly emerging dynamical phenomena by adding memristors into discrete chaotic maps are rarely studied in depth. This paper presents a novel discrete memristive chaotic map, which largely enriches the dynamical behaviors of the original map. The research results show that the memristive chaotic map not only possesses the new properties of line fixed points and multistability, but also realizes the chaotification. The specific manifestation is to expand the attractors space, extend the chaotic range and increase the complexity. In addition, the circuit of the memristive chaotic map is implemented based on the DSP platform, which reveals its potential in practical application.
