Summary: | A practical and economical process for reclamation of aluminum sludges and waste solutions generated in a factory anodizing process was succesfully developed on the basis of a fundamental study on producing zeolite and aluminum sulfate. Waste water is neutralized, agglutinated, scummed and reacted with waste acid to produce aluminum sulfate. Waste alkali is reacted with sodium silicate to produce zeolite and recovered alkali. |
