Flavonoids and 3-phenylcoumarins from the seeds of Pachyrhizus tuberosus

Analysis of the extracts from seeds (black variety) of Pachyrhizus tuberosus furnished five flavonoids and pachyrhizin, each of which had been isolated previously from P. erosus, and 6-(2,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-7H-furo [3,2g] [1]-benzopyran-7-one, a new 3-phenylcoumarin derivative.
