Recent developments in studies of organic calomels

New experimental evidence for the existence of organic calomels of both symmetrical, R 2Hg 2, and non-symmetrical, RHg 2X, types, as well as theoretical calculations of corresponding electronic structures and molecular geometries are discussed.
