Metal–metal bond energy in a binuclear molybdenum(III) aqua complex

The enthalpies of oxidation of mononuclear [Mo(H 2O) 6] 3+ and binuclear [Mo 2(μ-OH) 2(H 2O) 8] 4+ complexes in aqueous solutions were determined by calorimetric titration, and the metal–metal bond energy was estimated.
