A molluscicidal and antifungal triterpenoid saponin from the roots of Clerodendrum wildii

From the methanolic extract of roots of Clerodendrum wildii, a molluscicidal and antifungal triterpenoid saponin has been isolated and identified as Mi-saponin A by spectral analysis and chemical transformations.
