Summary:We propose a theoretical model which is able to give interpretations of the properties of the Polarized Resonant Raman spectra from stretched samples of trans (CH) x. This model is derived from the distribution of conjugation length model previously introduced in order to describe the peculiarities of Resonant Raman Scattering spectra of trans (CH) x at different excitations wavelengths, taking into account the properties of electric dipole moments of short conjugation length segments. Evaluations of polarized spectra and of the polarization ratios are given for different incident laser frequencies Ω L.
