Summary:Mill. is a deciduous shrub, belonging to the Rhamnaceae family. Phytochemical investigation of seeds showed the presence of three undescribed 8,4'-type oxyneolignans ( ). Their structures were elucidated by comprehensive spectroscopic analyses. All isolated compounds were tested for antitumor activity against two human hepatoma cells (Hep3B and HepG2) and exhibited moderate cytotoxicity (IC : 33.79-49.62  M).
