Summary:The self-similar model of hysteresis is verified for magnetic materials such as electrical steel, amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys. It is demonstrated that this model reproduces only major hysteresis loops, whereas in the case of minor loops – the model should be extended by an additional parameter to achieve satisfactory agreement between modelled and measured hysteresis loops.
