Summary:Left ventricular thrombi commonly occur in the presence of left ventricular systolic dysfunction. Their occurrence in the presence of preserved left ventricular systolic function is extremely rare. Here we present a case of a diabetic lady with community acquired Klebsiella pneumonia who also had large intraventricular thrombi which were managed conservatively.
