Proofing the presence of metal oxide impregnated into zeolite A without calcination: XRD and FTIR studies

Zeolite A is a zeolite with the smallest Si/Al ratio. The aim of this research is to characterize the synthesis of metal oxide/zeolite A through XRD and FTIR results, and to evaluate the treatment without calcination in the synthesis of metal oxide/zeolite A. This research was carried out in stages:...

Summary:Zeolite A is a zeolite with the smallest Si/Al ratio. The aim of this research is to characterize the synthesis of metal oxide/zeolite A through XRD and FTIR results, and to evaluate the treatment without calcination in the synthesis of metal oxide/zeolite A. This research was carried out in stages: (1) preparation of zeolite A, (2) synthesis of Na2O/Zeolite A and ZnO/Zeolite A, and (3) characterization of the synthesis results using XRD and FTIR. The results of this research indicated that the synthesis has been successful. Then, the treatment without calcination showed a successful synthesis on a small laboratory scale.
