Summary:The Nominal Group Technique, a brainstorming process emphasizing individual participation rather than group discussion, was used to identify strengths and weaknesses of the Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics curriculum at Louisiana Tech University. More than 150 ideas were generated in 3 workshops attended by 45 faculty members and students. The 2 highest-ranked program problems were students' needs to practice professional behavior and the need for an improved advanced nutrition course. Based upon workshop suggestions, the faculty is revising curriculum competencies. Thus, periodic curriculum evaluation can help a dietetics program meet its goals and educational objectives.
