Summary:In this paper, we propose a method for conducting a dimensional - precision analysis of technological processes of making shafts using bench centers and consider the features of its application. A method for drawing up rotation error diagrams for processing shafts installed in the centers of lathes has developed, taking into account the principle of constancy of bases and the presence of an error in pre-centering the initial shaft workpiece.
