Summary:Abstract The article discusses the features of the formation of new production models in the transition to sustainable development. The characteristics of sustainable production and consumption, sustainable development of the enterprise are given. The principles of the concept of sustainable production have been studied. The analysis of new mechanisms of sustainable development of enterprises is made. The key directions taken into account by organizations when forming a strategy for its sustainable development are presented. The industries positioned as the most promising and providing new opportunities in conditions of sustainable development are considered. The ways of further promotion of organizations to the stability of production in the conditions of transition to sustainable development are proposed.
