Evaluation of two VIDAS® prototypes for detecting anti-HEV IgG

Highlights • High performance anti-hepatitis E virus (HEV) IgG assays are crucial for epidemiology. • The sensitivity of both prototypes is >95%, similar to the Wantai anti-HEV IgG assay. • Both VIDAS® prototypes appear to be suitable for routine detection of anti-HEV IgG.
