Identification and primary characterization of novel cytochrome CYP74B1 of flax (Linum usitatissimum)

The divinyl ether synthase CYP74B1 of flax is a unique enzyme of the CYP74B subfamily. In accordance with accepted nomenclature of the CYP74 enzymes, we assigned the trivial name LuDES (L. usi tatissimum divinyl ether synthase) to the novel flax enzyme and the name LuDESto the corresponding gene.
