Summary:The article is devoted to describe the features of seasonal inhomogeneity of heat transfer between the surface of Lake Ladoga and the atmosphere, taking into account the limnic zoning of the lake. We present a climatological approach of surface water-air interaction for the lake during ice-free period. Our findings have implications for understanding the role of temperature-dependent processes in large lakes.
