The Chord-angle evaluation conditions based on the chord and its two corresponding minimum angles is proposed to solve the minimum circumscribed circle. These conditions are transformed into the corresponding operators to improve the computational efficiency, especially when the number of data point is large. Four cases of selecting the candidate points and determining the redundant points are introduced. The examples based on different data points show that the proposed algorithm can determine the minimum circumscribed circle accurately and effectively. |
