Summary: | An 81-year-old patient with benign prostatic hyperplasia with a history of acute myocardial infarction had undergone Memotherm urethral-stent placement because acute urinary retention 5 years previously. The stent protruded over the bladder neck without epithelialization and had recently become encrusted with vesical calculi.
