Summary:The effect of spray density on gas dynamic resistance has been investigated on test model for tube bundles of different configuration at cross and cocurrent with fluid rejection of vapour. The arrangement of smooth and profiled tubes of different diameters in the bundle was staggered and in-line. This investigation showed a considerable increase of gas dynamic resistance coefficient with the increase of spray density for cross vapour rejection from tube bundle, while for cocurrent vapour flow this dependence was slight. Empirical coefficients have been found for all types of tube bundles tested, which allow to calculate their gas dynamic resistance from the equation known in literature.
