Summary:The latest global trends in the field of technological equipment are associated with the “hot connection” (plug and play) of mechanical components and coordinates, including the kinematics of machine tools that change during their operation. The control of technological equipment with dynamically changing kinematics requires new approaches to organizing the interaction of components in the architecture of the control system as well as new algorithms and software, particularly those for controlling the process of shaping. CNC systems on the market are quite versatile and provide the ability to control various machine tools and configurations through machine parameter settings. Replacing one set of machine parameters with another requires a restart of the control system (cold start). This work proposes an approach to constructing a CNC system that allows reconfiguration of the kinematic scheme using a high-level language for programs in accordance with a change in the kinematics of the machine tool «on the fly». This paper contains the results of experimental studies and illustrates an example of changing kinematics of a milling machine in a CNC system “on the fly” through a control program running on the master channel.
