Summary:Summary A study has been made of the effect of two partially purified bacterial hyaluronidases (streptococcal and pneumococcal) and one commercial product of testicular origin (‘Alidase’) on growth of PR8 virus in the chick embryo. Evidence has been presented to show that these enzyme preparations failed to increase either the infectivity or the yield of this virus when inoculated within the allantoic cavity.
