Summary:This study was focused on the characterization of a new OLED TV under high dynamic range (HDR) and wide colour gamut (WCG) condition. Two aspects were covered. The colorimetric characteristics were first measured, analyzed and evaluated. The data were used to derive a novel characterization model. The present results showed that OLED displays had some better characteristics over ordinary display in both colour gamut and contrast ratio.
