Summary:Through the development of a a metrological technical assistance service, the National Metrology Institute of Colombia (INM) strengthened the measurement and control processes of the National Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies of Colombia (IDEAM) for environmental quantities. As a result of this cooperation, weather measurements now have a structured system that demonstrates traceability to the International System of Units (SI), allowing it to provide reliable data to national citizens and stakeholders who require this information to carry out their activities.
