Summary: | Epoxy resins exhibit various excellent properties such as high adhesion, outstanding mechanical properties, high electrical insulation, and chemical resistance. The article briefly reviews the literature on some epoxy resins based on bisphenolics, aromatic diamines, glucose, and bio-based derivatives as prepolymers and/or polymers, their synthesis, crosslinking process, and viscosities behavior. The article covers mainly epoxy resins with industrial applications. The viscosities of epoxy resins solutions as prepolymers and/or polymers samples in different solvents were highlighted. The effect of prepolymers and/or polymers samples concentration, temperature, time, and shear rate on viscosity was discussed. |
