Summary: | The spectral intensity of Raman scattering in quartz crystals has been calculated in a wide temperature range including the point of the α–β phase transition. It is established that a central peak is present in the scattered radiation spectrum at different temperatures with allowance for the interaction between the fundamental soft mode and an additional low-frequency oscillator. The intensity and half-width of the central peak are calculateed in a wide temperature range. |
