Physicochemical Properties of Ceramics Based on a LaPO4–DyPO4 System

Ceramic samples are obtained by sintering nanosized powders of La 1 − x Dy x PO 4 at 1000–1600°C, and their microhardness is measured depending on the temperature and time of the thermal treatment. The thermal behavior of the ceramic samples is studied via dilatometry. The leaching resistance of the...

Summary:Ceramic samples are obtained by sintering nanosized powders of La 1 − x Dy x PO 4 at 1000–1600°C, and their microhardness is measured depending on the temperature and time of the thermal treatment. The thermal behavior of the ceramic samples is studied via dilatometry. The leaching resistance of the ceramic La 1 − x Dy x PO 4 matrices in the contact solutions of a mixture of NaCl and Na 2 SO 4 salts at room temperature is determined.
