Summary:Equations have been derived for the size dependence of the interfacial tension and contact angle of a small spherical sessile bubble under isothermal conditions. It has been shown that the account of the size dependence of the interfacial tension may violate the consistency condition for the contact angles of small bubbles and droplets. This dependence is manifested in the fact that the interfacial tension at a concave surface of a bubble is higher than that at a convex surface of a droplet.
