Summary:The effect of the presowing treatment of Lactuca sativa L. “Lollo Bionda” lettuce seeds with dielectric-barrier discharge plasma in air on the quality of seeds and the morphogenesis and productivity of plants grown from them has been studied. It has been found that the plasma treatment of Lactuca sativa seeds for 10 and 15 s is optimal in terms of time because the germination energy of experimental seeds increased by 11–23% relative to the reference control and laboratory germination increased by 1–2%.
