Summary:The electrochemical behavior of amorphous and amorphous-crystalline Fe 76.1 Si 13.8 B 6.1 Nb 3.0 Cu 1.0 alloys in H 2 SO 4 solutions is studied with the use of the potentiodynamic polarization method. Structure phase states and changes in the elemental composition of the electrochemically treated surfaces of specimens are studied with the use of X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive analysis. The conclusion is drawn that a two-layer passive film is formed on the alloy surfaces studied.
