Summary:However, up to the present, there was few reports on the density of the molten Ag–Au–Cu and Cu–Ag–In alloy systems. In this work, using the determined densities for these alloys in literature, the molar volumes of these alloys have been calculated according to the Chou’s general solution model (GSM), using known experimental data for constitutive binary systems at a temperature of 1381, 973, and 1173 K, for the considered ternary alloys mentioned above in the sections with molar ratios of x Au/ x Ag = 0.4 and 2.5, x Ag/ x In = 0.5, 1, and 2, respectively. In addition, the calculated values for the molar volume of liquid alloys in question have been compared with available experimental data.
