Summary:The features of graphene synthesis in an electric arc reactor were studied. The synthesis was carried out using a propane-butane mixture as a precursor of carbon and helium, a plasma-forming gas. The pressure in the system was 200–710 Torr at a DC plasma torch power of 28–35 kW. It has been established that due to synthesis in the volume of a plasma flow, graphene has a deformed surface, on which hydrogen and oxygen atoms were present. Based on graphene decorated with heteroatoms, a glucose-sensitive sensor deposited on a flexible support by 2D printing has been obtained.
