Summary:The design and implementation of FPGA-and-USB-based control board for quantum experiments are discussed. The usage of quantum true random number generator, controllogic in FPGA and communication with computer through USB protocol are proposed in this paper. Programmable controlled signal input and output ports are implemented. The error-detections of data frame header and flame length are designed. This board has been used in our decoy-state based quantum key distribution (QKD) system successfully.
