Decay out of A Superdeformed Band: Chaoticity Dependence and A Microscopic Understanding

We examine how the degree of chaoticity of the normally deformed states affects the decay out intensity from a superdeformed band. Furthermore, a method to calculate the potential energy surfaces with given angular momenta is proposed in order to microscopically understand the decay out properties.
