Summary:We have developed an integrated optical unit for magneto-optical (MO) pickups which contains three polarized holograms for detecting MO signals and servo error signals. In this study, we modify the integrated optical unit so that it can reproduce two types of discs using two photo detectors. The phase-shift differential push-pull method is used for the radial servo and it is compatible with different track pitches. We also discuss the quality of the reproduced MO signals.
