Nitric oxide release from coumarin 4-carboxamidoximes in the presence of thiols

Coumarin 4-carboxamides with potent anti-inflammatory activity were studied for nitric oxide release in the presence of thiol cofactors in vitro. It was found that NO2- release was dependent on the nature of thiol.
