Summary: | An effective method for separating and enriching Baicalin from Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi (SBG) by solvent sublation and, subsequently, identifying it by HPLC and spectroscopy is described in this paper. The effects of the organic solvent, nitrogen flow rate, solution pH, sublation time, and electrolyte sodium chloride on the sublation efficiency were investigated in detail, and the optimal conditions of SBG solvent sublation were determined. The floated product of SBG under the optimal conditions was positively identified by HPLC, UV, FTIR, and

H-NMR. Solvent sublation was compared with the traditional precipitation method and was found to generate a significantly better product. The results show that the proposed method is simple, quick, and selective. |
