Summary: | The concept of a novel three-dimensional (3-D) frequency selective structure is put forward, which is different from conventional two-dimensional (2-D) frequency selective surface (FSS) design. Relationships between geometry dimensions and frequency response are investigated with simulations. The results indicate that the structure is characterized with multiple resonances and with broad relative bandwidth. Meanwhile, it leads to a superior shielding effect to electromagnetic pulse (EMP). This structure will encourage some more relative research in 3-D frequency selective structure. |
