In response to the population growth of Latinos, new Spanish-language media channels have emerged. The growth of Spanish-language and Latino-themed programmes has introduced new characters and diversified the children's television landscape. Media scholars must assess this new programming in order to determine the role television may have in teaching children of all ethnicities to navigate the world in which they live. |
