Summary:A case is presented of a forty-five year old female who had a radical mastectomy for carcinoma of the breast in 1950. In 1952 following panhysterectomy for uterine leiomyomas, isolated metastasis was found in one ovary and the uterine myometrium. The simultaneous development of diabetes insipidus could not be explained on cerebral metastasis. The patient is living and well three years following the mastectomy and fourteen months following the panhysterectomy, with no evidence of cerebral metastasis.
