Summary: | A kind of super-fine composite powder SnO2-TiO2 was obtained using a liquid phase in-situ chemical route. The distribution state of element titanium in copper and its effects on the microstructures and properties have been studied. The results show that SnO2-TiO2 powder is fine, uniform and has no obvious agglomeration. And a new contact material Ag/SnO2-TiO2 was produced by the powder metallurgy method and its electrical performances were done. The results of make-break capacity and temperature rise testing show that the new materials has better ability of anti-arc erosion and lower temperature rise compared to commonly used Ag/SnO2. Hence Ag/SnO2-TiO2 may become a new contact material which can replace Ag/SnO2. |
