Aetiology and outcome of paediatric cardiopulmonary arrest

Abstract Paediatric cardiopulmonary arrest is an uncommon event in children, but with appropriate management of their prevention and treatment, outcomes can be reasonable. This article looks at the causes of arrests in children, the likely outcomes, and the ways in which this can be improved.
