Summary: | As noted in a previous General Papers issue, the wide range of topics covered in issues such as this one offers a means of gauging the pulse of creativity and of getting a sense of where innovation is particularly active. This sense will, from time-to-time, suggest topical areas for dedicated issues of the Bell Labs Technical Journal. The continued activity in this area has already given rise to the selection of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) as the theme for an upcoming issue - Volume 10, Number 4. |
