Summary:Neuroendocrine cell tumors of the esophagus are rare forms of cancer. Incidence of squamous cell cancer of the esophagus is low in the United States. Combined tumors with components of both neuroendocrine and squamous cell cancer which are very rarely seen have not been reported in the United States. We present a unique case of a composite tumor of the esophagus with squamous cell carcinoma and neuroendocrine carcinoma.
