Summary:A picture of the state-of-the-art relevant to the activities monitored by the NEA/WPEC Subgroup 6 is presented. Short activity descriptions and bibliographic references are listed. Some recent results obtained in the frame of Subgroup6 specific activities are also reported. The present overview is organized in four parts. The first part of the Overview section mentions general analyses of the available DN data. The remaining three parts summarise activities carried out to measure, evaluate and validate DN data at the following three different levels: the level of individual precursor (or microscopic) data and their utilization by summation techniques; the level of the aggregate precursor (or macroscopic) data; the level of the in-pile integral measurements and related macroscopic DN data validations.
