Summary:Different kinds of high-field superconducting wavelength shifters (WLS) are actively developed at Budker INP in the last few years. The work on creation of two superconducting WLS for BESSY-II (Germany) and SPring-8 (Japan) SR centers was completed in 1999. The installing of high-field WLS gives the possibility of shifting the radiation spectrum to the area of shorter wavelengths of the already existing SR sources and increasing the SR power significantly. This gives new possibilities for the existing SR sources and allows one to conduct new experiments. The main features of the design, operational modes and perspectives of using the already fabricated WLS at Budker INP are described in this paper.
