Summary:By small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) we have analysed structural aspects of aquatic refractory organic substances (ROS) of different origin. Using GNOM, an indirect transform program for SANS data processing, size distribution functions were obtained from the scattering curves. Radii at the maxima of the distribution curves are found between 0.5 and 1.5 nm, depending on the investigated material.
