Summary: | In this paper, a novel vein power tree design technique based on constructal theory is introduced for optimal direct current performance. The designed vein tree has multifunctions of low electrical resistance, equidistribution, and compactness. In the meantime, a vein power plane based on the vein tree is developed for printed circuit board. The designed vein power plane example illustrates that the vein power plane has the properties of low voltage drop, voltage contour robustness, equidistribution, compactness, and effective noise isolation while maintaining a relatively simple design of geometry. |
