Niobium(V) oxide: a new and efficient catalyst for the transesterification of β-keto esters

[Display omitted] Niobium(V) oxide is an efficient catalyst for the transesterification of β-keto esters with several kinds of alcohols, leading to good conversions. Moderate to good isolated product yields have been obtained at faster rates than those recently reported for various catalysts.
